Check every app
on the phone at once

Two ways, both without installing anything on the phone. Type the apps you can see on it, or hand us the list Google already keeps.

The quick way: type what you see on the phone

Unlock the phone, look at the home screen, and add the apps one by one. Nothing to sign in to, nothing to download. Pasting a Google Play link works too.

All of them at once, from Google

This one needs the password to your child's Google account. Nothing on the phone changes, and you only ask Google for the list of apps. But if that is more than you want to do, the box above is the whole feature.

Getting the list from Google (about five minutes)

  1. Sign in to your child's Google account

The same account the phone uses. On your own computer or phone is fine.

    Open Google Takeout
  2. Press “Deselect all” at the top

The page starts with everything ticked. This clears it, so you only ask for the app list and nothing else.

  3. Scroll down and tick “Google Play Store”

One box, quite far down the long list. Then press Next step at the very bottom.

  4. Leave the file type as “.zip” and press “Create export”

Google emails a download link, usually within a few minutes. Bigger accounts can take longer. If you pick .tgz instead, we can't read it.

  5. Open the email, download the file, and drop it below

It's a .zip file with a name like takeout-20260826.zip. You don't need to open or unpack it.

…or drag it onto this box. It stays on your device. We read it here in your browser and only send us the app names, never the file.
